Something Strange happened in Paris

On January 15, 2017, apprehension was heightened in the hearts of the Israeli people and those in the United States who stood firmly beside them as leaders from 70 countries went to Paris to discuss a two-state solution between the Jewish Nation and the Palestinians.  The purpose of the summit was to further actions led by Obama’s administration at the UN, mandating that Israel would cede significant sections of its territory to a group of Palestinians,  thus denying Israel their rights to their Biblical ancestral home.  The Obama administration was behind the anti-Israel UN Security Council Resolution that passed on Christmas weekend in a 14-0 vote.

Prophecy in Judges 5

A good prospector diligently digs for the vein of gold hidden from the casual observer of the terrain, and so the Child of God searches for the golden nuggets within the Word of God.  Such is a study in the Book of Judges.  Let’s get our spiritual  pickaxes and delve into hidden treasures within Chapter 5.

Deeper examination of Judges chapter 5 reveals how Deborah, as a prophetess and a Judge, is not only giving us more than mere poetry but also a messianic prophecy dealing with the coming of the Messiah.  The entire chapter is dealing with Christ’s return to this earth, in power, by making numerous inferences to events that will take place in the latter days. As the hidden treasure is unfolded you will never again read this chapter the same way.

Let’s begin by noting that verse 2 mentions the avenger of Israel, which of course is the Lord Jesus. In the last days, God will avenge Israel and destroy her adversaries at the great battle of Armageddon. In verses 3 and 19 there is a reference to ‘Kings’  Since the Israelites were only fighting against one king at this time, Jabin, it would stand to reason that this is referring to the gathering of the kings of the world against Christ at this battle. This is confirmed in verse 14 as it mentions that the Israelites were fighting against Amalek which is south of Palestine, and not near the battle by the Dead Sea, We can conclude that this is one of the Nations which will be destroyed in the great and fearsome battle in the Valley of Jezreel..

The mention of the heavens in verse 4, is a reference to Christ returning in the clouds, as a Lamb, to rapture the Church. Furthermore  it is not difficult to understand that this verse is also referring to the return of Jesus as a Lion, with his Saints to battle the forces of evil in the Day of Vengeance. For this is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries…..Jeremiah 46:10

My understanding is that Jesus will come back in a chariot of fire (Isaiah 7:6)  This fire will be so intensely hot that the mountains in verse 4, which is the actual place where Christ will return, will melt. Furthermore because of the massacre of the Jewish people many fled to the safety of Mount Petra, thus the highways in verse 6 were unoccupied. It is estimated that the remnant of Israel will be a little more than a thousand people. Petra is a  city in the southern Jordan that is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Another name for Petra is the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved

The reference to Deborah in verse 7 could very well be the Church, as well as in verse 12. The Church is alert and awaiting the summon of their King to do battle. We do know that in verse 20, that the stars refer to the Saints who will return with Christ riding white horses. Interesting is the fact that the Judges (the Apostles) will be returning on white colts. (Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way). Judges 5:10  In the previous verse we know that the waters of Megiddo in the Valley of Jezreel refer to the battle of Armageddon. The first Biblical battle was fought here, and also will be the last.  We are told that Jesus will take the actual path when he comes back that he took when he rode into Jerusalem. This time He will not be riding on a donkey.  Instead :

For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.  Is 66:15

This reminds me of Elijah’s chariot of fire.  The Lord’s fire will be so hot that the mountains will virtually melt by the fire from his feet (Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet  Hab 3:5) .Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, Joel 2:5,but the noise will not drown out” The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills”  SOS 2:8

There is so much prophecy in this little chapter but I want to continue with verses 19 and 20.  The great and horrendous battle of Armageddon will be fought in the Valley of Jezreel..  The stars in verse 20 relate to the Saints who will accompany Christ when he defeats the Satanic forces. There will be no booty taken, no gain of money, because all the 200,million troops were slain. The amount of blood shed will spread for 12,800 miles and will be 5 foot deep, even up to the horse’s bridle.

Christians do well to pay attention to what is happening in Jerusalem, not because it is a shrine and not because it is more important than the New Jerusalem that is to come. Jerusalem is a time-clock for events of the last days

Much of this information was learned in a message given by my Assistant Pastor.  He spent many hours researching this material, and I trust that you will be as excited as I of the prophetic content of this chapter.  There is more prophetic knowledge within this chapter and I encourage you to share with me the nuggets that you glean as you srudy this section of Scripture. The Fate of Hamas

_76356166_30d7cfb1-cf96-42c8-9fdb-eec686425377 HamasHAMAS –Hamas”, Arabic acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement is a word that is familiar to people who keep up on the news about current events in Israel.  Of all the anti-Israel Muslim terrorist organizations, Hamas is one of the most violent. The Hebrew word hamas, in fact, means violence.  Many times the word hamas appears in the Hebrew Bible, and what the Bible says about the fate of those who carry out hamas/violence against the people of Israel.   Reading through The Twelve Prophets (Hosea through Malachi) in Hebrew, it is surprising how may times the word hamas is mentioned.(68 times)   According to the Bible, those who practice hamas/violence against the children of Israel will bring the fierce wrath of God down upon themselves. Russia in Prophecy

richardson120622_3 WWIIIWhat is Russia doing?.

Ezekiel 38 and 39 provides us with a blueprint for the coming World War III.  The rich underwater oil fields around Israel provide the covetousness that will spur Russia to attempt to destroy this little country in order to possess perhaps the richest oil field in the world!  Fortunatley, Gog and Magog will be annihilated.
